Relocation and establishing roots
What it can look like to settle and build a life in Ghana, through conversation with people who have already made that move. The summit is a place to listen and compare notes, not a relocation service.
24 February – 7 March 2027
An immersive Ghana experience for the diaspora ready to turn the idea of returning home into a practical next step.
The central idea
Ghana@70 brings participants into contact with returnee-owned properties, businesses, hospitality ventures, and communities. The experience connects conversations about relocation, investment, entrepreneurship, and nation-building with real people and real places.
The point is not a lecture about Ghana from a distance. It is time in the settings where people are already building.
What participants will explore
These are areas the summit intends to explore. They are not guarantees of services, residency, financing, or investment outcomes.

How returnees and local founders are building companies, and the questions worth asking before exploring ownership or investment. Nothing on this page is an offer, a solicitation, or a promise of returns.

Returnee-owned properties and community-led places, and the practical questions that come with developing, joining, or supporting them. Specific sites remain part of a programme still being confirmed.
04
Banking, residency processes, and the other practical questions people raise when they relocate. These are topics the summit intends to explore. They are not legal, financial, or immigration advice, and requirements will be confirmed in official updates.

Time with returnees, entrepreneurs, and local stakeholders. The summit is designed around those conversations, held in the places where people are already building.
The journey through Ghana
A regional experience shaped by community, the coast, and the capital. The route below is the current concept. Stops and hosts can still change.
01
Community, returnee-led initiatives, and local enterprise.
Time in the Eastern Region is conceived as a way to meet people building at community scale, away from a single conference hall.
02
Hospitality, coastal communities, and immersive experiences.
The coast is part of the concept: hospitality settings and coastal communities as places to spend time, not only scenery between sessions.
Cape Coast, Central Region
03
Business, connections, and the Ghana@70 Independence Day celebration.
The capital leg is where business conversations and the Independence Day gathering sit alongside the rest of the route.
